Join me this Tuesday evening in Las Vegas at Tommy Bahama’s @ Town Square

Dear Southern Nevada Friends,

On this coming Tuesday evening, Oct. 18th, between 5:00–7:00 p.m., I’d like to invite you to join me at a reception in Las Vegas at Tommy Bahama Restaurant Bar & Grill, 6635 South Las Vegas Boulevard.

This gathering, for my run for the State Board of Education District 2 seat (representing northern Nevada), will give me an opportunity to report to you about some of the improvements taking place within the education system in Nevada, and also discuss the challenges we face in the coming years.

Additionally, I’d like to update you on the progress of the “Campaign to Protect Nevada’s Children,” the statewide coalition on ballot Question 2, (the recreational marijuana initiative). As legalization will effect both the quality of education and workforce in Nevada, I believe it’s a discussion worth having. I’ll be sharing recent polling numbers, media campaign plans, and will be happy to engage in questions about this important public policy issue.

I hope you can join me. And while some persons will be there supporting the campaign for my State Board of Education race, I encourage your attendance even if you aren’t able to contribute.

Thanks much. Please RSVP via email–or call me with any questions you may have on my cell @ (775) 762-8006.

Best as always…Pat Hickey
